There is the term Té, which means power and great in the small. Or that even the slightest thing, whether it be a person and their attributes or a brief moment of time in nature during one of its splendid cycles is big. It’s powerful. It’s a profound moment or a profound action that hits home, and you may not have even seen it coming! It’s random acts of kindness and beauty, the help you may get from someone when you drop something and they pick it up for you. It’s stumbling on a scene that’s so unexpected and moving that you spend several minutes marveling at how lucky you are to witness it. It’s Té. Read my Substack article for more of what I’m talking about and see if you don’t start to see those moments too! https://open.substack.com/pub/scarletdarkwood/p/gratitude-in-the-small-things?r=6c13y&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web

A Review of Michael Dalton’s “Spider”
Spider by Michael Dalton I don’t normally review books. I’ll only do it in rare circumstances, usually when I want to share an author I really like, one I took the chance on reading when I have a TBR list that’s a mile high. I was intrigued by the title and the description of this…
Digging Into The Entrails
Flannery O’Connor said many things in her short life. This particular viewpoint I found quite interesting: Luckily, I have not found writing a terrible experience. My teeth have not fallen out, thank goodness. My hair . . . Let’s just say I was not blessed with luscious locks, but I have what I have! I…
Surya Is Published!
I can’t believe I published a Sci-Fi-Fantasy book! That is not my genre. That is not my genre. That is not my genre. So why would I have gone and done it? In junior high and high school, I used to read Sci-Fi. Star Trek was the starter for me. I had two hard-bound versions…
First Experiences In Writing Erotica
I thought I’d never be the one to do it, but I fooled myself! Yes, I’m actually a new author who managed to complete a full-length novel in the erotica genre, of all categories! Hooray! Why erotica? Yes, sex is such a taboo subject, and in the category of fiction, one dare not consider it…
